The present invention relates to an auxiliary rail device for an edge bending machine which enables an auxiliary rail to be apart from or close to a worktable arbitrarily, regardless of the size of a wooden panel to be conveyed, thereby firmly supporting the wooden panel to be conveyed and thus assisting smooth conveyance of the wooden panel. The auxiliary rail device includes the worktable for conveying the wooden panel by use of a conveyor moving on its top in an endless track type and a plurality of conveying rollers installed on the conveyor to be able to rotate; an auxiliary rectangular rail installed at one side of the worktable along a longitudinal direction of the conveyor, and having a plurality of auxiliary rollers provided on its top portion along a longitudinal direction thereof to support the bottom surface of the wooden panel; and an auxiliary rail moving unit for moving the auxiliary rail to be apart from or close to the conveyor of the worktable. |
