Disclosed is a method for analyzing a network accessing behavior of a user on a home gateway and monitoring the network quality, comprising the steps of: A10, acquiring the network accessing data of a user, parsing a data packet arriving at a home gateway, and generating a corresponding network accessing behavior CSV file and uploading same to an FTP server; A20, monitoring the network quality, the home gateway periodically simulating PPPOE dialing, actively initiating a TCP, DNS, HTTP and FTP service availability detection, and generating a corresponding network quality CSV file from the detection result and uploading same to the FTP server; and A30, analyzing the network accessing behavior CSV file and the network quality CSV file, so as to obtain the results of the network accessing behavior of the user and the network quality. The present invention analyzes a network accessing behavior of a user on a home gateway, can effectively acquire corresponding business information, and makes a corresponding adjustment to a network according to the monitoring result of the network quality, and provides differentiated service and the best quality of service for users.
