<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves calculating available electrical power in an energy storage device (24) i.e. battery, of a hybrid vehicle (11) when electric machines (18, 21) function in traction mode. Electrical power supplied to a direct current (DC)-DC converter (26) of the vehicle is calculated. Electric power supplied to the two electric machines of the vehicle is calculated.
