According to the invention, the multi-cell device consists of a first unidirectional power rectifying circuit (), correcting the power factor, which is connected between an alternative current source () and a direct current voltage source (), comprising: two rectifying diodes (), two distinct groups of inductances (), at least two switching assemblies parallelly connected by means of two distinct groups of magnetically coupled inductances (), each assembly comprising a cell () called double-boost and two capacitors () with a common terminal () which is connected between two outlet terminals (); a second unidirectional power rectifying multi-cell circuit () which is based on the unidirectional power rectifying circuit (), whereto the double-boost cells () comprising a common transistor () are replaced with double-boost cells () comprising two transistors () with a common terminal (); two bidirectional power rectifying (inverting) multi-cell circuits () which are based on the unidirectional power rectifying circuits (), whereto the unidirectional double-boost cells () are replaced with bidirectional double-boost cells () and anti-parallelly with the rectifying diodes () there are connected some transistors ().
