The tool claimed by the invention is a gear hob with inverted conicity which has a geometry quasi-identical with the geometry of the gear worm, the geometry of the profile of the generating flanks being asymmetrical, namely the bearing flank angle ranges between 10...18° and the support flank angle ranges between 20...30° and the gear hob is carried out in a monoblock constructive structure having the following components: a control collar (), an active area, a cutting component (), a neck () of the gear hob, a nose radius () with a shoulder () of the gear hob, a tool shank () which ensures the fastening of the gear hob into the bracket, so that the cutting process where there are generated the flanks of the worm wheel is carried out on the entire width of the cutting component of the gear hob, and the profile of the gear hob teeth has an asymmetry in the axial plane, according to the profile explained in a detail ().
