Preparing fuel with a determined form comprising plutonium, uranium and/or minor actinide in oxide form, comprises (a) introducing a suspension, comprising oxide powders of plutonium, uranium and/or minor actinide in dispersion in an aqueous liquid medium, in a mold cavity to obtain the fuel with determined form, (b) performing liquid/solid separation in the mold to avoid the aqueous liquid medium to obtain a compacted object resulting from the agglomeration of the powders, (c) demolding the compacted object, and (d) sintering the object to obtain the fuel with a determined form.
