Preparing EMT structural type EMC-2 zeolite comprises: mixing a mixture of a tetravalent element (X), an alkaline metal or alkaline-earth (M), a mineralizing agent (A) and a nitrogenized organic species (1-[6-(4,7,10,13,16-pentaoxa-1-azacyclooctadec-1-yl)hexyl]-4,7,10,13,16-pentaoxa-1-azacyclooctadecane) (R) in an aqueous medium to obtain a gel; and hydrothermally treating the gel at 80-140[deg] C under an autogenous reaction pressure for 1-50 days to obtain crystallization of the EMC-2 zeolite.
