A retention system for louvre blades

602530 A louvre blade retention system for use in a louvre windows system is disclosed. The retention system including a louvre end clip (10) mounted relative to a louvre channel. The louvre end clip has at least one longitudinal recess to receive an end portion of a louvre blade (13) and at least one transverse opening (14) that aligns with a hole in the louvre blade. A retaining member (16) is received through the at least one transverse opening in the louvre end clip and the at least one opening through the louvre blade in order to fix the louvre blade to the end clip.
