The frontage has a curtain wall comprising a pre-assembled unit including superimposed ladders (10) for a fixed opening and a movable opening. The unit is formed before assembly of the ladders on the frontage. The unit is mounted between a lower carrying structure and an upper carrying structure (4). Projections (2) of the ladders and cross-pieces carried by the wall are arranged inside a space defined between the structures. The wall is prolonged with its lower part and/or its upper part by a prolongation element (6) for covering the structures. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a frontage.
