A transmission controlling method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a step of sensing operation signals generated in an acceleration pedal sensor; a step of shifting gears at a transmission sector which is set from a current gear to an aimed gear; a step of sensing a changing speed of the operation signals; a step of controlling a constant value which release oil pressure signals are constantly maintained while shifting gears according to the changing speed; a step of adjusting an increase gradient of joining oil pressure signals before gear-shifting is completed according to the changing speed; and a step of adjusting a decrease gradient of the release oil pressure signals before gear-shifting is completed according to the changing speed. Therefore, the present invention has a driver feel a soft sensation of shifting gears simultaneously with extending a gear-shifting period by controlling the release oil pressure signals and joining oil pressure signals when quick-down gear-shifting is performed and has a driver feel a rapid sensation of shifting gears simultaneously with decreasing the gear-shifting period by controlling the release oil pressure signals and joining oil pressure signals when rapidly accelerating during the kick-down gear-shifting.
