The device (1) has a heat exchanger (3) and a bundle (4) of heat pipes (5). Each heat pipe includes an end (5a) having a surface (12) intended to be in thermal contact with a battery of a car, and another end having a surface intended to be in thermal contact with the heat exchanger. The heat pipes include a filling stopper (6), a sealing stopper (7), and a central trunk delimiting channels. The channels are closed at one end by the filling stopper, and closed at the other end by the sealing stopper. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a thermal control device (2) a battery module of a car.
