Disclosed is a method of transmitting data of a wireless sensor network including: (a) collecting information including locations of neighboring nodes and a destination node of a packet which is to be transmitted, sleep latencies of the neighboring nodes, and packet reception rates with the neighboring nodes by a data transmission node; (b) calculating distance scores of the neighboring nodes based on the locations of the neighboring nodes and the destination node by the data transmission node; (c) calculating predicted transmission delay scores based on the sleep latencies by the data transmission node; (d) calculating link quality-distance scores of the neighboring nodes based on the distance scores and the packet reception rates by the data transmission node; calculating forwarding suitability scores of the neighboring nodes based on the predicted transmission delay scores and the link quality-distance scores by the data transmission node; and (f) transmitting the packet to the neighboring node whose forwarding suitability score is highest by the data transmission node.
