The field tuneable band rejection device (11) includes at least one RF input (6), at least one RF output (7), at least one band-stop filter, at least one indexed human interface (12) and a mechanical actuator. The band-stop filter is electrically coupled between the RF input (6) and the RF output (7). The band stop filter includes at least one mechanically tuneable element for adjusting the stop band frequency over a tuneable range. The mechanical actuator is configured to engage with the mechanically tuneable element and the indexed human interface (12) to adjust the mechanically tuneable element in response to a setting of the indexed human interface (12). A unique stop band frequency within the tuneable range of the band-stop filter can be selected by selecting a unique index value by way of the indexed human interface (12). |
