The system has a protective cover (2) partly covering a transverse deflection rod (6). A side of the cover is maintained on a support of brake control device by a fixing unit and another side of the cover is maintained on a passenger compartment by a lower support (34) and an upper support (36), where the cover is formed by moulding a plastic material. The lower and upper supports are respectively distributed in a lower part and a top part of the deflection rod. Clips or rivets are passed through holes (32) of the cover.
