According to the present invention, a pupil orientation sensor (16) pupillarily splits beams transmitted through lens sections (12a, 12b) and simultaneously acquires images (A, B). A focusing detection unit (60) controls focusing depending on image signals indicative of the images (A, B), and detects lens positions of the lens sections (12a, 12b) during the focusing control. A measurement unit (64) calculates distances of first and second subjects and the distance between the first and second subjects on the basis of the lens positions of the lens sections (12a, 12b), and outputs/records the calculation results. |
