Provided are a production system and a program switching method used for the production system, in which a program list is acquired on the basis of just-in-time-system information and the programs for production facilities are switched. The production system includes a program list acquisition means (step 500) for acquiring a product name from a just-in-time-system information management table (17b) and also for acquiring the program lists corresponding to pairs of the acquired product name and the names of a plurality of production lines from a product information management table (17c), and a switching means (step 600) for searching a program storage unit (17a) for the corresponding programs on the basis of the program lists acquired by the program list acquisition means and for sending the programs to the production facilities of the plurality of production lines to switch to the programs. |
