A recirculating-air spray booth with a working region (14) for coating workpieces (16) is specified, with an extraction zone from which solvent-containing exhaust air is extracted, and with a fan (22) for circulating the air, wherein at least part of the exhaust air can be resupplied as recycled air to the spray booth (10a) via at least one filter unit (24) in the recirculating-air mode, wherein the spray booth (10a) can be switched over into a rapid venting mode, in which the supply of recycled air is interrupted or reduced and additional air, which is preferably filtered and at least part of which is not recycled, can be supplied in the working region (14) (Figure 2). |
