PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of controlling a recess of the center of a fixing belt.SOLUTION: A fixing device 100 of the present invention comprises: a fixing belt 110; a nip plate 130 having a sliding surface 135 on which the fixing belt 110 slides and extending in a direction orthogonal to a sliding direction of the fixing belt 110; a pressure roller 140; and a stay 160 disposed on a side opposite to a side of the pressure roller 140 of the nip plate 130 and having a support part 165 for supporting the nip plate 130. The support part 165 is provided with its both end sides in a longitudinal direction of the nip plate 130 that are positioned on the pressure roller 140 side that is closer to the end sides than to its center side. Further, the fixing device 100 comprises a downstream guide 320 having a guide surface 321 for guiding the fixing belt 110 in a downstream side of the sliding surface 135 in the sliding direction. The guide surface 321 is positioned on the pressure roller 140 side that is closer to the guide surface than to a surface 136 extending from a downstream end of the sliding surface 135 in the sliding direction. |
