PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor, for solving problems such as non-uniformity of electrophotographic characteristics due to non-uniformity of drying by hot blast drying and non-uniformity of electrophotographic characteristics due to non-uniformity of drying by an induction heating method using a high-frequency induction coil, and for obtaining an electrophotographic photoreceptor having uniform electrophotographic characteristics.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises forming a coating layer on a conductive support body 1. Induction heat generating members 3, 4, which can be heated by eddy currents induced by a high-frequency induction coil 2, are disposed at both ends in an axial direction of the conductive support body 1; the length of the high-frequency induction coil 2 is controlled to generate eddy currents by high frequencies in the induction heat generating members 3, 4; and the coating layer is dried and cured by induction heating in the conductive support body 1 and the induction heat generating members 3, 4. |
