PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupon providing system and the like, capable of transmitting/receiving coupon information simply and at high speed.SOLUTION: A coupon presentation terminal 3 transmits, when a portable terminal 5-1 is held up over an R/W 4, a URL representative of a preservation place in a coupon management server 2 for a coupon selected by a user via the R/W 4 to the portable terminal 5-1 in a P2P mode. The portable terminal 5-1 receives, when accessing the received URL, coupon information via a network 9 from the coupon management server so as to display it on a display screen.The portable terminal 5-1 transmits, when it is held up over an R/W of a use terminal 6 by a user in a state that the coupon is displayed, a URL representative of the preservation place for the coupon to the R/W 7.The use terminal 6 interprets the received URL so as to extract, out of the URL, coupon information such as a discount ratio and user authentication information. Then, the use terminal 6 causes, when it succeeds in user authentication, a shop 8 to execute discount processing. |
