PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a sorting apparatus for field crop to be capable of accurately measuring the quality inside a measurement target by measurement light from a light-emitting section, at a measurement position.SOLUTION: A sorting apparatus for field crop is configured to comprise first support bodies 13 supported by a first endless conveyance body 12, and convey measurement targets 1 in the state of supporting the measurement target 1 between a pair of the first support bodies 13. The apparatus comprises: rotation means for rotating the measurement target 1 by rotating the first support bodies 13 at a measurement position 14; a light-emitting section; and a light-receiving section 55, and is configured that measurement light from the light-emitting section passes between the pair of the first support bodies 13 and the measurement target 1 and received by the light-receiving section 55 and the quality of the measurement target 1 is measured based on receiving of light by the light-receiving section 55. The apparatus includes a separator 21 which separates the measurement targets 1 based on a measurement result at a position on a conveyance downstream from the measurement position 14.
