<p>This RAID failure self-repair device is provided with: a failure statistics management functional unit (51) which, from the failure history based on degrade notifications, determines the reparability of a storage device (4); a storage state monitoring functional unit (52) which, if the failure statistics management functional unit (51) determines repair to be possible, monitors the repair state of the storage device (4); an error state notification functional unit (53) which, if the failure statistics management functional unit (51) or storage state monitoring functional unit (52) determines that repair is not possible, notifies of a breakdown of the storage device (4); and a RAID reset processing functional unit (54) which, if the storage state monitoring functional unit (52) determines that the recovery process is complete, resets the storage device (4) to the RAID device.</p> |
