<p>In the vehicle roof device, when a movable panel in the tilted down state moves towards the back of the vehicle, a shade panel moves together as a unit with a drain channel and a sliding member towards the back of the vehicle, and both the movable panel and shade panel are thereby completely accommodated between the roof and the ceiling trim. A part to be engaged is provided on the shade panel and an engaging part is provided on the sliding member. When the movable panel in the tilted down state moves towards the front of the vehicle together with the drain channel and the sliding member, the engaging part engages with the part to be engaged and moves the shade panel towards the front of the vehicle. As a result, when the movable panel is in the completely closed state, an operation handle provided at the front edge of the shade panel is exposed in the opening of the ceiling trim.</p> |
