A stake for a loading platform is disclosed, the stake comprising a lower stake member (1), in a lower end adapted for mounting the lower stake member in an upright orientation, and in an upper end configured for connecting an upper stake member (2) to the lower stake member pivotally about a pivot axis (PA) perpendicular to an axial extension (LC) of the lower stake member. An upper stake member (2) is configured to be journalled on the pivot axis, pivotally between an unfolded position substantially along the axial extension of the lower stake member and a folded position substantially alongside the lower stake member. The upper stake member is connected to a spring-loaded arresting mechanism (3), the arresting mechanism engaging the upper stake member at an over-center position (OC) with respect to the pivot axis (PA), the arresting mechanism applying a bias on the upper stake member (2) towards the unfolded and folded positions, respectively. |
