PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid cartridge which enables an ID chip to be held with a small number of components, eliminates labor hours for manufacturing a cartridge, and achieves low costs.SOLUTION: Chip holding parts 26a, 26b are respectively formed at a first case 21 and a second case 22 which form a case of an ink cartridge. The chip holding parts 26a, 26b of the cases are symmetrically formed around joined surfaces of the cases, and joining the cases to each other forms the chip holding parts 26 for holding an ID chip. The ID chip is held on the cartridge by the cartridge case itself in a dropping prevention state. Thus, the structure reduces the number of components and labor hours during the manufacturing thereby reducing the costs. |
