PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection system that allows an operator to easily determine an installation position and an attitude in a horizontal direction of an image projection device, so as to reduce a time required for installation of the image projection device in a room for the operator to perform image projection.SOLUTION: In a data table in a groupware database on a database server 510, information related to candidates of a projection layout of a projector 100 when image projection is performed in a venue 10, is stored. On a touch panel display 311 of a portable information terminal 301 for remotely control the projector 100, the candidates of the projection layout are displayed as candidates of a plane projection layout pattern, and a selection plane projection layout pattern to be applied to a projection image 1 is selected. The projector 100 is then installed with reference to the selection plane projection layout pattern.
