PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium conveyance device in which reliability is remarkably enhanced.SOLUTION: A pinch roller conveyance part 20 is configured so that a pinch roller shaft 38 which is so disposed as to be extended in parallel with a rotational shaft of a conveyance roller 34, and has a flat surface 42 formed by shaving an upper part above an intermediate position in the vertical direction in longitudinal and lateral directions so that the transverse section is D-shaped, is caused to slide in a pinch roller rail 52 in a shaft movable direction. Thereby, an automatic teller machine 1 is configured so that by causing a spring flat surface 57 of a pinch roller spring 56 to press the flat surface 42 of the pinch roller shaft 38 toward the conveyance roller 34, both are brought into contact with each other at a large area, so that when a rotational force is transmitted from a bearing 40 to the pinch roller shaft 38, rotation of the pinch roller shaft 38 can be prevented. |
