PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen apparatus for papermaking stock that accelerates the defibration of the stock, thereby achieving improvement in a yield and reduction in rejection and can adjust the defibration according to the nature of the stock and the operational balance.SOLUTION: A rotor ring 28 is attached to an upper portion of a defibration rotor 25a. The rotor ring 28 has a ring shape having an opening 28c at its center, and comprises a ring portion 28a and a plurality of rotating teeth 28b provided on the outer circumference of the ring portion 28a. The ring portion 28a forms an attachment portion fixing the rotor ring 28 to the defibration rotor 25a. The rotating tooth 28b has a length enough to block the width of a pocket 26 of a defibration portion 25 in the circumferential direction. When the rotating tooth 28b rotates according to the rotation of the defibration rotor 25a, the rotating direction of the rotor ring 28 is the horizontal direction with respect to the direction of the vertically flowing foreign object, so that the rotating direction of the rotor ring 28 is an orthogonal direction to the foreign object flowing direction and the shear force between the pocket 26 and the rotating tooth 28b is generated. |
