[Also in Division B6] In a box-blank forming machine, a tool for slotting the blank B transversely inwardly from its two side edges and creasing the blank transversely along the line of the slots comprises a vertically-reciprocating casing 41 with two creaser bars 30, 301 spring- mounted therein and slotters 29 fixed to the casing and situated between the bars 30, 301. The slotters 29 consist of a number of separate blades each with a toothed inclined cutting edge 46 (Fig. 3, not shown). The machine may also include a knife 351 (Fig. 2, not shown) for cutting a blank to the required length.
