PURPOSE: A carbon fiber using polyacene-based compounds and a method for fabricating the same are provided to improve coulombic efficiency at first cycle and to obtain the carbon fiber with excellent cycle stability. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating a carbon fiber comprises: a step of electrospinning a spinning composition containing polyacene-based compounds and carbon precursor at 20-30kV of voltage and preparing fiber type precursor; a step of performing thermal treatment of the precursor at 220-300 Deg. C.; and a step of carbonizing the precursor at 300-3000 Deg. C.The polyacene-based compounds includes 3,4,9,10-perylene tetra carboxylic hydride, polyacene, polyacenoacene, polyacethylene, polystylene, phenol, polyphenylene sulfide, poly-paraphenylene, or pitch. The spinning composition further contains a metal precursor. |
