PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method of an electrode mixture by which a dried electrode can be wound up longer by making approximately uniform a thickness of an electrode mixture layer in a width direction.SOLUTION: A coating method of an electrode mixture includes a coating step of extruding the electrode mixture and coating the electrode mixture on a metal foil, and a drying step of drying the coated electrode mixture. The drying step includes at least a first drying step and a second drying step which is implemented after the first drying step. In the first drying step, the electrode mixture is heated only from a surface side of the metal foil 1 opposite to a coated surface on which the electrode mixture has been coated, and the electrode mixture is dried in such a manner that the center of the electrode mixture in the width direction is dried prior to end portions of the electrode mixture in the width direction. In the second drying step, the electrode mixture is heated from the coated surface side of the metal foil 1 and the surface side opposite to the coated surface of the metal foil 1, and the electrode mixture is dried. |
