PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery and an electrolyte used for the lithium ion secondary battery, the secondary battery having a high capacity and an excellent thermal stability.SOLUTION: There are provided an electrolyte for lithium ion secondary battery comprising 65 to 99 vol% of a phosphoric ester compound, 0.01 to 30 vol% of a fluorinated carbonate compound, and 0.1 to 10 vol% of a halogenated phosphoric ester compound and/or 0.1 to 30 vol% of a solvent whose dielectric constant is 15 or more; and a lithium ion secondary battery having the electrolyte. |
