PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter shut-off device enabling a multi-stage shut-off method corresponding to seismic intensity of an earthquake.SOLUTION: A shut-off processing module 3 includes: a shut-off signal receiving unit 3a for receiving a trigger signal from a sensor module side; a seismic intensity information receiving unit 3b for receiving a seismic intensity equivalent value information signal; a shut-off determination unit 3c for performing a multi-stage return determination after the cessation of an earthquake on the basis of the seismic intensity equivalent value information; and a shut-off command unit 3d for transmitting a shut-off command signal to a shut-off valve 6 on the basis of the trigger signal from the shut-off signal receiving unit 3a or the determination result of the shut-off determination unit 3c. When the seismic intensity is equivalent to 5 upper or more, a meter shut-off signal is transmitted to the shut-off signal receiving unit 3a from a seismic intensity information transmitting unit 2d via a signal wire 4, and the meter is shut off. At the time when the earthquake is determined to be ceased after equivalent time has passed from the occurrence of the earthquake, mutual communication is performed between the shut-off signal receiving unit 3a and the seismic intensity information transmitting unit 2d via a communication wire 5, and the shut-off signal receiving unit 3a acquires a seismic intensity equivalent value. Corresponding to the seismic intensity equivalent value, the determination of an automatic return operation is performed by being classified into three methods. |
