PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for capacitor excellent in paper-making stability, thin, high in uniformity, low in internal resistance increasing rate, and high in capacity maintenance rate and a capacitor using the separator.SOLUTION: A separator for a capacitor is paper made of a solvent-spun cellulose fiber having a modified freeness of 20-70 ml and a length weighted mean fiber length of 0.50-0.79 mm and a solvent-spun cellulose short fiber. |
