The present invention provides a radar reflector operating device for distress position indication, wherein: a survivor can indicate his or her position by using the radar reflector even though the survivor enters the water without wearing a life jacket; the survivor can easily operate the radar reflector by simple operations such as the pulling or pressing of a switch even when the survivor is in a semiconscious state due to the low temperature of the seawater or the like and has limited movement of fingers, arms or the like; a safety means is provided such that the radar reflector operates only when the survivor applies a predetermined amount of force or more and, once operated, the operation of the radar reflector can be maintained even though the survivor does not continuously apply force; a wing having a hydrodynamic shape is attached to the radar reflector such that the height of the radar reflector which floats in the air is not lowered by the influence of wind or the like so as to secure an appropriate reflection area and to enable long distance recognition; and the radar reflector can be used as a lifebuoy so as to enable the survivor to float on the sea by holding the wing even though the survivor cannot swim. Thus, the survivor can be safely protected from danger.
