A chain saw as a power tool which has an engine and an electric motor is provided. The chain saw includes a driving shaft which is adapted to drive a saw chain, a controller which controls the electric motor, and a driving source which provides current to the electric motor. Further, the chain saw is adapted as the saw chain is drivable in a hybrid driving mode in which the engine and the electric motor drive the driving shaft simultaneously. The power source of the chain saw includes a capacitor. The capacitor is electrically connected to the controller. |
