The system has a processor (101) that selects a computation core (103B), in order to receive a first thread from a computation core (103A), in response to a request for transmission of first thread. A last error-free architected-state of first threads of error recovery logic of computation core (103A) is transferred to computation core (103B). The last error-free architected state of first thread is loaded on the computation core (103B) through inactive thread. The execution of first threads is resumed on computation core (103B) of last error-free architected-state of first threads. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a computer-implemented method for moving threads between calculation cores in processor; and (2) a computer program product comprising physically tangible storage medium storing program for moving threads between calculation cores in processor.
