The element (10) has an extrusion profile (12) i.e. extruded section, made from metallic material i.e. aluminum, and comprising a hollow chamber that is closed in a circumferential direction. Core elements (16a, 16b) are made from continuous fiber-reinforced plastic and arranged in a length area of the hollow chamber for reinforcing the extrusion profile. The core elements are glued with the extrusion profile by an adhesive. A guiding device is provided for holding a partial area of the core elements at a distance to the extrusion profile. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a profiled element.
