<p>Provided are a dust-collector filter element and a dust collector which protect a pleated filter fabric from paint particles. A filter element (10) adheres a first precoat material (Pf) in the form of raised dust particles to the filter surface of a pleated filter material (2) in a substantially adhered state, and then adheres a second precoat material (Pc) to the first precoat layer (P1), making it possible to leave the first precoat layer (P1) intact while removing the second precoat material (Pc) by spraying pulsed air (Pa), and also making it possible to use the first precoat layer to protect the filter surface of the pleated filter material (2) from strongly adhesive paint particles not adsorbed by the second precoat material (P2).</p> |
