PURPOSE: A method for extracting manganese in a process of collecting lithium in sea water and a method for manufacturing an adsorbent for collecting lithium in sea water by using thereof are provided to collect lithium efficiently by having an excellent selectivity about lithium and by collecting lithium through an ion exchange of lithium and hydrogen by acting a manganese oxide as a lithium absorber.
