PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve shortening of a garbage treatment period and increase of treatment capacity and improve the efficiency of garbage treatment by supplying a sufficient amount of oxygen to microorganisms to promote oxidative decomposition of garbage by aerobic respiration of the microorganisms, and to prevent generation of a putrid odor in garbage treatment.SOLUTION: In a garbage treatment device, a rotary shaft 3 is vertically provided in the center of a treatment tank 2 and on the bottom 23 of the treatment tank 2, a vent cylinder 4, which is vertically penetrated by the rotary shaft 3 and whose top and bottom are opened, is fixed to the rotary shaft 3 and arranged at a central part of the treatment tank 2 and agitating blades 5 are fixed to the rotary shaft 3, and a lid body 47, which partially closes a lower end opening 44 of a front part in the rotation direction of an agitating blade 51 partially closing the lower end opening 44 of the vent cylinder 4, is extended from the agitating blade 51. |
