PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a class determination method capable of accurately and easily determining or optimizing a calculation method.SOLUTION: Teacher data comprises optical performance data of a lens obtained by subjecting the lens to mapping measurement and order diopter data of a spectacle lens that are respectively regarded as first and second variable data. A function (a probability function) indicating the probability that two lens groups having different characteristics respectively belong to each class is obtained on the basis of the teacher data of each lens. The probability function is applied to a new lens belonging to any class to thereby calculate a probability value belonging to a class and determine which class the new lens belongs to. |
