This mental health care support device is provided with a contradiction determination means (101) for determining whether or not there is a contradiction between automatic thoughts and feelings, on the basis of automatic thoughts categories in which either the automatic thoughts of a counselee or automatic thought expressions expressing the automatic thoughts of the counselee are classified into prescribed categories, and feelings categories in which either the feelings of the counselee or feeling expressions expressing the feelings of the counselee when an automatic thought occurs are classified into prescribed categories.
