A fuel injection valve (1), which is used in particular as an injector for fuel injection systems in air-compressing, self-igniting internal combustion engines, comprises an actuator (10), a nozzle needle (6) and a mechanical translator (19). In this process, the mechanical translator (19) translates a stroke of the actuator (10) into a stroke of the nozzle needle (6). A hydraulic equaliser (30) is provided for this purpose. When the stroke of the actuator (10) is translated into the stroke of the nozzle needle (6), the actuator (10) acts on the equaliser (30) via the mechanical translator (19), and the mechanical translator (19) acts on the nozzle needle (6) via the equaliser (30). As a result, the equaliser (30) in the functional chain of the actuator (10) lies on the nozzle needle (6) between the mechanical translator (19) and the nozzle needle (6). |
