The device (1) has a switching device (3) whose contact terminal is electrically connected with the movable contact terminal studs (2). The switching device is provided with a guide element (10) having a legs (12,13) that are arranged to opposite directions of current flow. The electromagnetic force is introduced into the leg (13) fixedly arranged in a pivotable transmission lever (14) to enlarge the contact pressure force exercised by a contact pressure spring (7). The electromagnetic force is introduced into the terminal stud to support the opening operation of switching device.
