摘要 The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a metal catalyst for manufacturing carbon nanotubes and a method for manufacturing carbon nanotubes using the same. The method for manufacturing a metal catalyst for manufacturing carbon nanotubes via a deposition-precipitation method comprises the steps of: manufacturing a supporter dispersion solution having a supporter in solid state dispersed in a solvent; and manufacturing a mixed solution by putting a metal precursor salt solution and a pH adjusting solution into the dispersion solution, and manufacturing catalytic particles by adsorbing a metal oxide or a metal hydroxide formed thereby, to the surface of the supporter in solid state. The metal catalyst for manufacturing carbon nanotubes according to the present invention has a high synthesis yield of carbon nanotubes owing to the high utilization rate of a metallic component which is the active component of the catalyst. And the metal catalyst can synthesize more homogeneous carbon nanotubes having little side reaction.
