The present invention is to provide an apparatus for compensating passive intermodulation distortion (PIMD) component generated at a mobile communication base station or a duplexer of a repeater system. To this end, the present invention discloses the apparatus for removing the PIMD component which couples and converts the signal applied to the duplexer from a power amplifier, to an intermediate frequency; performs digitalization with intermediate frequency conversion and sampling of an uplink signal of the duplexer after performing the sampling and then digitalizing; and estimates the coefficient used for PIMD modelling by processing the received signal.
