FIELD: instrumentation.SUBSTANCE: proposed device is a fixed-scale rule with main marks with underlines with mid marks without underlines. Note here that scale mark underlines are displayed with the help of electronic screens located under main marks and changed by scale control unit push-buttons. In measurement of linear sizes on drawings or maps the user observes directly the actual magnitudes of sizes.
