PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly adjust charging potential and developing potential, to reduce image defects.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes: a photoreceptor; charging means which applies a charging voltage to charge the photoreceptor; light irradiation means which irradiates the charged photoreceptor with light to form a latent image; developing means which applies a developing voltage to develop the latent image on the photoreceptor with toner; and control means which causes the light irradiation means to emit light with a first exposure amount to an image part where the toner of the photoreceptor is to be transferred, and to emit light with a second exposure amount smaller than the first exposure amount so as not to transfer the toner to a non-image part where the toner of the photoreceptor is not to be transferred. The control means corrects the preset second exposure amount on the basis of information relating to a difference between the charging voltage output from the charging means and a predetermined charging voltage and/or information relating to a difference between the developing voltage output from the developing means and a predetermined developing voltage. |
