PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane element, a membrane module and a membrane separation system capable of uniformly filtering water to be treated in a filtering membrane regardless of the specific resistance of the filter membrane.SOLUTION: There is provided a membrane element 10 which comprises: support means (housing 14) which supports a filtering membrane 12 which filters water to be treated to generate filtered water and has a space for storing the filtered water; a plurality of branch pipes 28 which are disposed and extended from the support means and allow the filtered water to flow; and a header pipe 30 having a water collecting port 32 which is connected in a state where the plurality of branch pipes 28 are disposed and allow the filtered water flowed in from the branch pipes 28 to flow out to the outside. The physical shape inside the header pipe 30 is changed so that the pressure losses from each of the branch pipes 28 to the water collecting port 32 are equal to one another.
